Romania’s #1 Poultry Producer
Carmistin becomes the largest feed producer in Romania following the acquisition of Cargill Romania’s animal nutrition division, which will contribute to the consolidation and integration of the Group’s livestock supply chain at the national level. Carmistin reaches the milestone of 10,000 tons of meat sold per month.

Full-Circle Production Comes to Life
We launch our first swine reproduction farm in Buzău and complete our new poultry processing plant in Frâncești, the largest of its kind in Romania, raising industry standards through modern technologies, efficiency and sustainability.

Breaking Records. Setting Standards.
Official launch of the Organic Chicken, making Carmistin the first certified organic poultry meat producer in Romania.
2022
Scaling Reach
The Carmistin Group surpasses, for the first time, the threshold of 1 billion RON in consolidated turnover.
2021
Growing with Romanian Farmers
Launch of the strategic program “Farmer in My Country,” a Carmistin initiative aimed at the sustainable development of Romanian farmers through integration into the group’s value chain. The project promotes best practices in agriculture, farm digitalization, and the growth of local production capacity, offering logistical support, technological know-how, and market access for small producers.

Puiul Vegetarian Hits the Market
Launch of the Vegetarian Chicken product, a first on the Romanian premium product market. Carmistin currently holds over 80% market share in this premium chicken segment (Corn Fed Chicken).
