On June 1st, 2024, the Carmistin Foundation organized a special celebration for the children of Băbeni

For the children of George Țărnea High School in Băbeni, Vâlcea County — where 360 pupils from grades I to VIII from Băbeni and the surrounding villages of Bonciu, Capu Dealului, Pădurețu, Români, Tătărani, and Valea Mare. The Carmistin Foundation organized a festive day filled with games, gifts, and cultural activities to celebrate their efforts and encourage them to stay in school. Teachers, parents, and volunteers joined the initiative, turning the event into a true community celebration.
